• The Master Bedroom has the benefit of a very high ceiling fan and its own en-suite bathroom. It has a fitted wardrobe/Drawer unit containing additional Pillows and Blankets and a fan heater. A safe is fitted inside the wardrobe, ideal for Passports and Airline tickets. Direct access doors onto the Solarium offer superb views to the distant mountains.

  • The bathroom is unique in the property in that it is marble throughout, both on the walls as well as the floor, very cool in the summer - though there is a wall mounted fan heater.

  • La Finca is in the midst of a rural environment but never too far away from the necessities of life. A superb café bar and restaurant is on the golf course available to all guests. Back down the road through the citrus groves, and past the castle, is the small town of Quesada (you enter through an old archway) with cafés, shops, banks, restaurants, post office and a petrol station.

  • The adventurous go to the nearby coastal town of Torrevieja - its a maze of shopping, plazas, churches, street cafés and markets - especially Friday market. Just passing the old fishing harbour (handy place to park the car), you pass another smaller craft market on the way to the Promenade. Facing the Mediterranean, this is where many of the towns seafood restaurants can be found. Also here is the Water Fun Park, if you get past the Go-Karts and Horse Riding activities.

  • Inland is the historic city of Elche with its famous Palm Gardens and Safari Park, driving north are the coastal cities of Alicante and Valencia, always never far from the mountains.

  • Some of the best surprises however have been when we "lets just see where this road goes".
